Gave the Orme a bit of time this morning and had a few bits. Redwing and Song thrushes were in good numbers, as were finches. Couple of Brambling heard, couple of Snow Bunting heard with one seen very low but didnt see it on the deck today. Merlin was on the limestones per MH and 2 Peregrine were hunting the starlings in the fields. 1 Golden Plover over and several Skylark. A Firecrest was by Powells Well and eastern type Chiff by the old Cafe (MH). 15 Crossbill were in the cemetry pines and a Kestrel was showing very well. A single Barn Swallow went over here also.
A quick call in at Conwy and the Jack Snipe was seen from both Carneddau and Benarth Hides but tricky to pick out. Common Red Chasers were in good numbers today both at Conwy and Burton Mere Wetlands.
