A cracking Summer-plumaged adult Little Gull was on Llyn Bach at Porthmadog this afternoon before flying over to the Glaslyn nearby where it was joined by an Iceland Gull.
Stick to these easy ones, Marc. They're much less stressful than the Herring Gull-types! I spent a great couple of hours showing locals and visitors these birds yesterday afternoon. I think I convinced most of them how interesting and beautiful gulls can be and not one mention of tertials, mirrors or primaries!
Stunning Elfyn! Great stuff.
