Lots of news in North Wales today. Ken's found a Barred Warbler in Breakwater Country Park, Holyhead and it's still present to mid afternoon at least. It's in the scrup / hedgerow beyond the 2nd bridge on the approach road to Holyead Breakwater Country Park.
3 Surf Scoters showing well again from Llanddulas or Hotel 70 degrees, looking out gererally in the direction of the turbines. 2 Velvet Scoters too.
3 Lapland Bunting showing very well on the limestone pavements at lunchtime, while 2 Firecrest reported from the hawthorns earlier. The first Redwings here also this morning. A lone Snow Bunting was also recorded at Carmel Head.
Time to get out in the field I think ........
