The nape on yours is nice n pale, with a decent collar and a hint of scaliness which seem to fit Nordic Jackdaw ssp monedula as per MGs blog post. Have you any info on bill thicknesses which you mentioned, as they do look strikingly different, but a quick image search seems to show a lot of variability in birds in Finland and Poland for example. I have since read that there are no differences in any biometrics of the 3 ssp's from a dutch paper. Rob
