Date for your diary: the Rare Men are in Town
Come and meet the BBRC
Each year the British Birds Rarities Committee holds its AGM in a different part of the country, providing the opportunity to meet with local observers and bird recorders in an informal setting on the Saturday evening.
This year we will be meeting in North Wales and we would like to invite local birders to an informal gathering at RSPB Conwy from 7.30 pm on Saturday 9 March. The evening will feature a short update on important BBRC records from Wales and the opportunity to ask questions and chat with BBRC members. There will be a buffet provided. We hope to see you there!
If you plan to come, please email conwy@rspb.org.uk

This is a great opportunity. Adam is talking about a few 'interesting' North Wales records from the past. Has anyone got any records they want to know more about e.g. Cayenne Tern, Elegant Tern, Summer Tanager?
ReplyDeleteThis is not a chance to raise issues over 'personal' rejections though!!!
Let me know if you have any birds you would like to know a bit more about and we can pass these on to Adam and the 10 rare men.
The Elegant tern is coming up for it's 10th birthday now, so it would be nice to know what is happening and do I need to buy a birthday cake. I will be running a BBS course in Cardigan so I dont think I will be back in time to ask myself.
