After a relatively sparce winter last year, Kingfisher is showing well at The Spinnies pool again offering half decent photo opertunities. There were also plenty Greenshank, Little Egrets, Goosanders and a Common Sand, with Nuthatch, close on the feeders. I had the two Garganey at Cefni Res SW end yesterday still with a flock of teal and Wigeon. Little egret was good for here, reflecting the low water level. Al had Dunlin and Blackwit here the day before.
