Thanks Jon

Great talk last night at Bangor Bird Group by Jon Green on Rare Birds in Wales, even got some laughs!

Jon is putting together a data base of rare bird photos from across Wales so dig out those dusty slide boxes and see what you have! The photos don't have to be brilliant Jon is looking for record shots, but of course if you have pin sharp frame fillers even better.

Next weeks talk is on Max Nicholason a giant of conservation and an inspirational figure.

Still one place on our Hawfinch tomoz if you fancy joining us?

  1. Have you got an email address for Jon, Alan? I'll have a look at my old photos. Mostly record shots unfortunately.

  3. Steve,
I had started an online submission of the Bonaparte's Gull record. I'll finish it today. Noticed the Cardiff Bay returning bird was reported again yesterday. Shame the Traeth Lligwy individual hasn't put in an appearance - yet. I'll be checking the Cob again come May in case the Porthmadog bird will be passing through again.
