Corn Buntings over the border

Whilst popping over to Merseyside to watch the Footy and see the Folks on Saturday I saw 5 Corn Buntings in a good spot for them near Rainford, St Helens. I used to see flocks of 20 - 50 in my youth when I was a lad. The fact this flock only contained 5 birds probably reflects their general declining population in the UK. On the map if you can see PH, Hill Top Ho and follow the track NW towards Reeds Farm this is a good spot especially in the summer. The five I saw were in a field between Reeds Farm, Inglenook farm to the North and the roundabout.
