Hoodie Hybrids

This bird I photographed at lunch-time today has been around Pen Lon round about and the Braint car park for about a year and the other resident is usually found on the road between Llangefni and the A55. The latter bird was also showing today. As you go from the A55 to Llangefni look to the field on the left with the row of windswept hawthorns on top of the close rock-face. It likes to perch on the last bush on the Llangefni side. There are also a few around South Stack Range but the pure-bred bird at South Stack disappeared presumed dead, last year.

  1. Nice one. I saw a similar bird around Lidl's in Llangefni a few years ago. Maybe the same bird, glad to see it has moved to a slightly more rural spot!
