Conwy, Spinnies, Valley Wetlands and more...

I started off at Conwy with Alan and it wasn't long before the Firecrest was showing well at the bridge pool.No sign of the Teal today though. Siskins and Redpoll feeding on the feeders there.Moved on to Aber Ogwen with John where Spotshank and Greenshank were showing well at the Spinnies with a Water Rail running behind them and a Peregrine hunting over the estuary.Goosander and many Little Egrets also there. No sign of the Smew though.I drew a blank in Benllech where the Ring necked Parakeet has turned up again around Fern Hill. I did have more luck at Llyn Penrhyn, Valley with the female Long tailed duck but no sign of last weeks "duck who's name shall not be mentioned!" The Pale Bellied Brents were very showy at Penrhos CP with other assorted waders including Knots nearby and I finished off with a nice sunset at South Stack. All in all a pretty good day!
