Purple sandpipers

At least 7 purple sandpipers roosting over high tide at Rhos-on-Sea today. They were opposite No 75 Marine Drive (the promenade) and near to Abbey Drive. One more was roosting with the turnstones and ringed plovers near to the former cafe.
