Porthmadog Iceland Gull.

The 1st Winter Iceland Gull that joined the pre-roost gull gathering on the Glaslyn at Porthmadog late this afternoon. A cracking bird and a great addition to the Glaslyn bird list. One of the embarrassing gaps on my local patch list has finally been filled.

  1. Nice one Elfyn - another good Glaslyn gull :-)

  2. Cheers, Andy. A long-overdue addition to my local patch list. I thought we were going to miss out on the Iceland Gull invasion this winter. Always thought a high tide weekend in Spring would attract one to the gull roost by the sluice gates, though. We've done pretty well with gulls here in the last few years although I still need a Ring-billed and Yelow-legged locally.
