The murmuration of around 2,000 starlings at Conwy RSPB this evening had a peregrine keeping a beady eye on them as they swirled round the sky looking for a roosting spot. On the larger lagoon four sand martins battled against the cold wind to look for morsels over the water. A couple of dozen pied wags on the estuary but no white wags yet.
