Hot news - and site tick - from Catbird Ken aka Anglesey Birdman via Twitter... Muscovy on the rocks below Ellin's Tower yesterday - awesome... I thought my two large race Canada Geese at Aberdaron beach were good - this is something else.
Someone please tell 'Plastic Steve' Culley if he's not been already to go pap the hell out of it - I want prints!!
:-D
Hi Andy.Very funny. Hardy Ha Ha Haaa.Even I wouldn't twitch that, unless it was a pure bred black one like they get in South America. There are too many one's with white in for my liking. They should all be ethnically cleansed and turned into crispy ducks, like the ones in Llangefni Dingle. Then we could introduce some Mandarins there, they would fit in far better, now there's an idea!
ReplyDeleteSorry Steve - couldn't resist! I love all your posts - at least you make the effort unlike all the bloody lurkers on here!
DeleteGood to hear you've got the whole twitching thing under control... was getting worried about you ;-)
Hear what you're saying about the bloodline - fully concur. Reckon RSPB should start a cull, being expert at such matters... Kate Humble should pull the first trigger on Springwatch Live.
Shouldn't the headline be "KEN ON TWITTER!!"
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell is the world coming to?
True Rob, I looked up from my dusty old Britsh Birds magazines from the 70's and find that the whole world's gone digital...
DeleteOn the Ken front, I'm bracing myself for the gripping messages. What the **** will he find next??
Ynys Mon seems to be a bit of an ornithological black hole on the news front - v little on here lately apart from Steve's regular missives. Come on all you lurkers - share your news!
Hey Andy that's a bit tight calling Martin a lurker ;-)
