Old Faithful Mrs Surfie still
A couple of hours between meetings down the Lleyn Penisula meant I had a couple of hours to spare. 40 Pale bellied Brent Geese were present at Pont Llyfni by the River Mouth while 3 Great northern Divers were close inshore too with another at Aberdesach. The female Surf Scoter showed well below the cliffs off Morfa Nefyn Golf course, rather closer than the Llanddulas drakes! Pwllheli Harbour contained good numbers of gulls but nothing unusual with them while a Green Woodpecker was a welcome sight at llangybi. All in a days work ;-)

ReplyDeleteFor anyone who has not been to Porth Dinllaen you don't know what you're missing - she's a cracker!
Had a few other fillers today - read all about it over at http://lleyn-birding.blogspot.com/
