Purple Sandpiper heaven - for those who are sensible.

I couldn't believe it when I arrived at Rhos Point on the falling tide - this supposed bird photographer was standing exactly where the high tide roost usually is! I can't believe some people's selfishness and lack common sense.
Anyway, for those willing to stick to the promenade, the Purple Sandpipers showed well some 200 yards east of the point. Nestled amongst the sea defence boulders, they slowly came out as the tide receeded. Some great views of eight individuals.
