Cemlyn and Anglesey Sunday 10th April.

After receiving Marc's text at 7.20 (and almost having a stroke!) I was getting in the car to go to Cemlyn with added expectation. As it turned out there were less migrants than yesterday. Obviously they were all on the Orme! There was 1 Lap bunt, Tree pipit over, Lesser Whitethroat, 15 White wags and the Pink footed goose. Only about 10 Wheatears compared to 30+ yesterday. Tony had a Ring Ouzel yesterday at the Mynachdy NT car park down to Ynys y Fydlyn. I had a flyover lapbunt there tonight. We did some owling last night getting Tawnys in over 10 new tetrads on the island. We also saw Barn and Little owl. The Spotshank at Malltraeth cob is coming into Summer plumage now. There was a Blackwit there and a male Goosander flew upstream Tonights highlight was 3 late Fieldfares flying around with Swallows at Llyn Llygeirian.
