Black winged Pratincole at Burton Mere Wetland Reserve!

There's a Black winged Pratincole and Burton Mere Wetlands this evening. The bird was picked up soon after six p.m. and was flying around the reserve and was often seen on the Welsh side and over Shotwick Fields. Unfortunately the bird seemed to fly off at 7.40pm. Hopefully tomorrow!

  2. Got the pratincole at about 9am this morning. It was hawking over the fields and border pool and resting on the ground. Always distant but importantly always in Wales and a Clwyd tick for me.
Also great egret on the same welsh pool.
