NW Anglesey

The strong winds this morning seemed an ideal opportunity to christen my new beach tent / wind break, so headed of to Cemlyn for a sea watch. The highlight was my earliest record of Sooty Shearwater and my first for the site. little else of note other than 8 puffins. A lunch time wander along the coast at Trefadog produced a Whimbrel & 1st summer Med gull. spent the afternoon at the Alaw estuary with a Blackwit and Short-eared Owl being the highlights.
