Great Trip to the Orme and Conwy RSPB

Today on The Great Orme

Six Ring Ouzel seen in their usual place, the sheep pens. I counted only one female and the rest male.
This Merlin made a surprise appearance in the same field as the Ring Ouz .

A quick trip to Conwy RSPB through up loads of Willow Warbler and plenty of Chiffchaff and one ArcticTern. Reports of Common Redstart but unfortunately I never saw it

  1. Good visit Austin - nice one. I'm glad you got the birds you were after. Good to meet you early this morning.
I had a Bonxie offshore at 8am and a Greylag Goose over was the first I've seen up there for years!
