More Migrants arrive
As I left work I had a Swallow in Rhosmeirch. So I headed to a Hirundine Hot-spot Llyn Llygeirian in search of more, and got zero! However I did get my first singing Willow Warbler of the year plus 50 Redwings. I made up for the lack of expected hirundines by seeing 2 House Martins around the Windmill at Cemaes, not bad. Onto Cemlyn where there were a few Meds and a Blackwit on the lagoon. There were 5+ Wheatears knocking around,3 White Wagtails were with some Pied Wags on the beach between the Trwyn and "Tyn Llan" Beach. On this stretch of shore there were also 5 Purps and my first Whimbrel of the year. Topped off by a huge rainbow it was quite a nice evening all in all!
