From hills to sea
Went up to Llandbedr y Cenin this morning and managed to see three hawfinches in the trees opposite the small lay-by past the church. Carried on up the hill looking for yellowhammers but no sight or sound from the usual spot near the pylons, although did have a group of 4 jays on the way up. Back on the coast at Rhos Point the black throated diver was seen briefly beyond the breakwater while great northern diver, kittiwakes and a sole gannet were also logged. Further along opposite the Toad pub the Med gull was roosting on the sea.
