Nordic type Jackdaw

On the minor road opposite from Pentraeth Automotive the Glaucous gull was with the "resident" gull flock feeding on effluent in the fields yesterday. I had no joy today but this Jackdaw looked a reasonable candidate for a Nordic Jackdaw. It had very noticeable white neck collars which varied with the angle of the head. If you see any birds like this try and get some decent shots if you can (this bird was distant). The Welsh Rarity Panel are looking into this race and would appreciate any records. We're not sure if they are true migrants, integrades or bright/well marked resident local birds (as several seem to stay and breed!), so send us your records, or post them here. Many thanks.
